-The new sidewalks going in on both sides of the McD's plaza side of Ao Nang beach road are quite nice. Large enough to give space away from the Nepalese touts trying to get you into their Indian food restaurants or tailor shops. makes for a nice walking road.

-no more bootleg CD music or movie shops anymore, I guess downloading makes that a thing of the past.

-Vogue Ao Nang doing big construction, rumors of higher end restaurant going in there.

-used to laugh at the guy who set up the Chill Out Wine bar (just too pretentious for AN), well, old boy (or the Thai wife) smartened up and made it a minimart.

-how do the Indian guys now running Jeanette's get to keep the name of that restaurant? Are the Swedish tourists aware? I guess when the meatballs come out tasting like Vindaloo they'll figure it out.

-I see the L resort ditched the Brazilian Churrasco restaurant. What genius thinks people come to Thailand to eat overpriced Brazilian Churrasco?

-was happy to see Leung still has his beer stand and a few chairs there on the sidewalk to sit for a quick beer, there by the street to The Rover.
