Vientaine Embassy Open on King Chulalongkorn Day?

I just realized in Thailand that tomorrow (22/10/13) is King Chulalongkorn Day where a lot of Thai employers let workers off. I didn't even think about this when applying for my Visa today and wondering if the Embassy will be closed tomorrow in Vientaine because of this holiday as I need to pick up my visa and take a flight back to Thailand? I checked their website and it does list it as a holiday but doesn't make clear if it will be closed or not.

Does anyone have information on this?

It will not be open. You will have to wait until Thursday to pickup your passport.

King Chulalongkorn Day falls on 23/10/2013 (tomorrow) !

Suspect all Thai Consulates/Embassies will close for this National Holiday !

When i was there one week ago had a notice on the gate and notice board closed 23 OCT next year could be fun when anybody turning up on the 23rd expecting a one night stay will be there for four.

Welp looks like I am that person haha, I seriously did not put 2 and 2 together (not used to Thai holiday schedule yet) but I settled everything and looks like I'll be in Vientiane and extra day, oh well!
