Visa To Cambodia?

Featured Replies

Helo all, have you try this new service of Cambodia Embassy that can apply Visa online? I had try it, just so convenience and easy...you can apply it any time, any where..just need an internet..haha

There are restrictions:

Valid Port of Entry: Phnom Penh International airport and Siem Reap International airport.

Most of us do entry and exit by land and usually for visa runs so until it covers ALL ports of entry it is no good to me. Also check the restrictions on exit, Poipet is not on the list. Cheers.

Correction on my last post. Poipet for exit is included, sorry. :o

How would this save time or would it ? as you would still need to wait in the line at the Airport to get the Sticker no Or would you by pass that and just head out to the luggage claim area anyone know ??

It seems as though you pay for it online and then you print it out and present it to the Immigration Officer on arrival, if your printer doesn't work then you are suppose to write down the visa number and use that. The site seems very professionally put togeather, you will find more in The Frequently Asked Questions.

As far as saving time I think it just saves you going to any Consulate to get it, can't see it saving time on the arrival side though. It's pretty good just doesn't cover my ports of entry yet.

It would also seem that there is a minimum stay in Cambodia of 24 hours. Good for people on business or longer holidays, useless for visa runners.

I think it's a April's fools joke.

Firstly the E-Visa costs more than a normal visa ($5extra)and it takes 3 days to get(about 15minutes on average).

The normal visa is on arrival, just bring 2 photos, they'll charge you an extra $1 if you don't have any.

Also you have to use your visa card on the a Cambodian Governemtn website that states they are not responsible for any loss attributed to them loosing your personal details and secondly you don't get a refund if you are declined.

So what is the point?
