Why not try the Apple shops? That seems a fairly obvious place to buy an Apple product?!

Airport plaza at level 3 , Pantip Plaza or Siam TV is probably your best bet

Yeah, already tried the apple stores at the main malls. No Ipod Classic anywhere. Didn;t check Siam TV yet. I'll give it a try, as well as the mentioned websites, thanks!

If u have a Thai Partner ...I know they use this website Pantip for almost all arts of ads and that will widen the search for u beyond Chiangmai and perhaps even nab u a better price :-)

I read in a newspaper that Apple was planning to phase out the iPod because sales had dropped and most were using iPhones to store music . I know the ipod nano is still available but that is not what you are asking for.

Why would you need a Thai partner? I've bought hundreds of things on pantip. They have an English section but it is useless as it only incorporates perhaps 10% of the website.
