Just wondering what is the difference between them? Cos gasohol does seem cheaper but I dun want any damage to the car.... Gasohol is a mixture of 10% ethanol with 90% petrol. If you have a modern car it is unlikely to cause damage, however, if you have an older car the alcohol may attack seals and gaskets in the fuel system. Contact your vehicle manufacturer. Ethanol has a lower energy content than petrol therefore you will get poorer mileage with gasohol, many people are finding that the increased consumption offsets the lower cost. Note, if your vehicle can use gasoline 91 there is no point putting gasohol 95 in it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
