If you'd bothered to READ the thread, you might've noticed it's not about rentboys. It's about allowances to boyfriends/spouses/husbands. Not unlike the kind of threads that pop up in the general area about how much allowance people give their wives. The rentboy reference is coming from a group who are somewhat naughtily implying that a number of the boyfriends of certain members here might not, in fact, be entirely sincere.
