She would do to remember that you should never smile at a puppet master crocodile.whistling.gif

Has he ever shown any remorse for his actions?

Indeed the cattle pens at the Thaksin clans grounds must be knee deep in male bovine solid waste fecal matter hence she is still muck spreading in her valiant efforts to cultivate a crop of sympathy for her brother.

Yingluk is hopelessly out of her depth talking meaningless platitudes

It can't be nice to be despised by almost every educated person in Thailand.

"It can't be nice to be despised by almost every educated person in Thailand".

Well I think I am an educated person and I don't despise her, My wife is a very educated woman with a uni degree speaks 4 languages and runs 2 successful businesses here in Thailand, and she doesn't despise her, I know quite a lot of well educated people that doesn't despise her.

if fact Siripon I think I'm so educated and smart that the interest that my bank pay's me more than covers my mortgage interest rate here with beer money left over,,,

If that is your measure of educated and smart you have no idea how close to the back of the queue you are wink.png By the way there are lots of 'educated people' in N Korea who don't despise Kim jung so you may be educated but it seems you and your wife didn't take any lessons in 'class', however as you are Australian then concessions can be made for you and as Yingluck is asking for forgiveness then you are forgiven. I am unsure though how any educated person can like an airhead and also not despise people intent on the manipulation, rape and ruination of a country, in particular a country they call their own. I guess that is the [problem, they want to make it their own.

So did Yingluck run the Mockumentary whilst her staff were checking in her baggage for the flight out of Thailand?

Well GJ, you are certainly going to be a happy camper when the PM, her party and her brother win the next election...........

Me ???

I'll be having a glass of red and driving down to the pub, probably without a helmet.

Pro-amnesty group gives PM Yingluck moral support

By English

BANGKOK, Nov 4 – Relatives of victims of Bangkok’s 2010 political upheaval met Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at Government House today to show their support for the Amnesty Bill.

Tears brimming in her eyes, Ms Yingluck expressed appreciation to her supporters and called on all parties to extend pardon to others for the sake of the country.

She said the government has yearned for national reconciliation and progress, instead of repeated losses.

Somchai Jiampol, a representative of those who lost family members in the 2010 incident, said the group wanted to give the premier moral support and they believed the Amnesty Bill was the best legislation ever drafted.

He said the government should move on and they were willing to pardon though they still felt the pain of their losses.

Anongporn Prasupan, widow of a slain protester in the clashes at Bon Kai, in Lumphini, said she would be willing to bear the pain though those who ordered the murder of her husband would be set free.

“I simply want the country to move on. I do not believe that we have become a political tool in expressing our support to the Amnesty Bill,” she said.

Ms Yingluck said no matter what the outcome will be, not all parties would be satisfied with it but “we should be kind enough to pardon others.” (MCOT online news)

Forgive and forget???

I don't think the little big man is going to forget about the 46 billion baht (or whatever the sum is) that he's still looking to recover.

Some things definitely cannot be forgotten!

I don`t know much about this but have looked at the Thai news. It seems that the big problem with this is that it will let her brother come back to run Thailand again. I notice that the PM keeps saying that this is the only way the country can move forward. Is it really impossible to move forward without her brother being in Thailand? Why is that?

Because Dr. Thaksin will use his wealth to wage war on Thailand until he gets his way.

BTW. mR T and Miss Y got masters in ingerlish but cannot speak the language. Proves, everything can be bought.

A well constructed and logical answer would be appreciated. As would u corekting my d liberate miss steaks.

What the General Thai Population should do is not to forgive all the Politicians, be it from whatever parties, as its all these politicans who have made a mess of this whole country as a result of their greed and corrupted practices. What the General population should do is to flush away these corrupted politicians, their families and business cronies away and seize all assets of these politicans, their families and their business cronies.

Her argument is essentially that since not all parties can be satisfied, at least SHE should be. What kind of argument is that? I could say the same thing for myself - and the rest of Thailand - that WE deserve to be satisfied rather than the Thaksin clan.

And "we should be kind enough to pardon others" - when those "others" are us?! What kind of sham reasoning is that? Should we always pardon criminals - for the sake of moving forward? I would have thought that PUNISHING criminals woud be a better way for a country to move forward.

She makes me want to throw up.

How about you Ms. Yingluck make a sacrifice for once, and forget about your brother for like 10 minutes. Simply include in the amnesty law that your brother will not be included, and all the demonstrations will vanish. As long as your family is the only thing blocking peace, do not expect sympathy from anyone but the red fools!

I understand the amnesty law is to bring peace, and not to bring Mr. Thaksin home, well if that is the case, then how is that going? Is there now more or less peace than before the amnesty law was proposed? I think the answer is obvious, so why keep pushing it?

I'll be having a glass of red and driving down to the pub, probably without a helmet.

And that puts you diametrically opposite the circumstances of the people in his support base who would not be able to afford that (apart from the helmet part, because they don't have the money for frivolities)

Will you cheer and raise a glass when the country is brought to its knees? or will you, and I would suspect a couple of others, just flee the scene, never to be heard from again if that happens.
