Are These Lotto Tickets...Real or Fake ?

Featured Replies

Greetings to all.

Maybe 6 months ago, while at Future Park Rangsit, we encountered a setup of around 10 tables, covered with Lotto Tickets.

They were 100 baht each. Prizes included various vehicles. I purchased 3 said tickets. To date, I have not been able to locate the winning numbers.

Has anybody had the same experience? If yes, what was the outcome?

Are these tickets real or fake?

I wouldn't mind winning something for a change....

(Thanks in advance)

Look real enough to me.

"Red Cross Lotto"

"Red Cross Festival"

"Patumthani Province"

"Prizes out 26 May 2556"

Doesn't say where to find out where the winning tickets are advertised.

An article in one of the non-sponsor newspaper refers to this fair and has this snippet which may be useful:

For more information, call 02-958-0011 ext 1036 or 1886.

You should also check the back of the tickets if there is anything printed there.

Hi soundman and Jdietz. Unfortunately, when called, they simply said, "The contest is over and the winners have been found already, with the prizes having been given out or claimed."

No proof, no list, no way of verifying. To me this doesn't sound right, but what can you do?

If you hold a lottery, the winning number have to be publicly displayed somewhere, otherwise it smacks of a scam.

Live and learn. But why would Future Park Rangsit allow this to transpire on their premises? Let alone the government?

(By the way it was a Thai friend that called and that was his unsolicited opinion as well)
