Lost WP - How long to get e new one

Hi,

A friend of my lost his WP-book and wandered how long it would take to get a new one and to what cost. He have got a police report already.

Any knowledge here about this issue?

Obtain a Police report concerning the loss then go and speak to the Labour office

The thing is that he had to leave Thailand for a while the same day he made the police report and therefor asked me if i knew.

Mine was stolen last year (it was in my wallet as I was going the next day to renew it.) Even though I had only one day left on the work permit, I still had to pay the complete amount to replace the lost one and then turn around and pay the same amount for the new one. The replacement was done the same day. Because I was filing for the new one also at the same time it took two days. Went in on Friday and got it back late Monday.
