Featured Replies

Sent from my AM741RC using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

it will be the radio transmitter / sensor inside the unit

they are around 1500-2000 baht to replace dependent on model

have a good English speaking alarm and gate box guy on the dark side

if you need him PM me for number

I too have a good gate man. PM me if required

If the gate open/close it could be the sensor which should open the gate if someone passes. Check for dirt or misalignment.

Had the same issue a couple of times and it was misaligned..

If it isn't, it could be so that one of your neighbors have the same setting on their remote and they interfere with yours.

Blackman, great diagnosis with so little information.

I have 22 years experience in Automatic Doors and Access Control, the phrase "It goes back and forth at will when remote pressed" means very little to me.

  • Do the Gates open fully before closing?
  • Do you normally have to press a close button for the gates to close or do the hold open for a minimum set time before closing?
  • What sensors (if any) are there to stop them closing on pedestrians or vehicles? a they working?
  • What is the make and model of the main running gear? (the make of the remote control may differ).
