The reason i asked was so that people could respond, there may possible be members and "guest" alike who have had visa's granted but havent posted anything about the it.

.... the last news of a visa being granted (to my knowledge) is:

Got the call just as we crossed the border into Laos.

It was about 3 months since we handed in the application (2 from the interview). We'd had problems with VFS etc so I had sent a complaint letter during our wait. Not sure if that had anything to do with the speed but we are now going to Oz.

and my response was:

what date did u put in the app? ...

by the way... its great news ... i wish u all the best

..... to which there was NO reply........

Only just applied and had interview. Now its a waiting game. Not stressed how long just as long its within 4 months.

I am contracted to work till end of September. So as long as i get it before then. But the sooner the better. Good luck with your application mate. Dont stress. Its doesnt change anything stressing.
