I am sure you have no knowledge about OSX or about Apple devices in Apple. That's why you think a roku is better than an Apple TV ... Lol.

Don't ask me, I'm not a mactard, I was just posting it as a courtesy.

That's a separate discussion, but you only have to look at the free channel list on the Roku compared to the Apple to realise that you're talking out of your arse and know nothing about either.

Out of my arse?

Well at least I know to separate Apples from Pears (Pun intended).

The Apple TV is for a totally group of people than the Roku 3 and is popular and well fitted for Apple product users due to it's ability to provide Home Sharing and Airplay.

The Roku 3 is nothing more than a box with optional channels (which I bet most of them unaccessible without a VPN router). Apple TV simply allows Apple users to stream their own content from their devices (being an iPad, iPhone of MAC) to their HDTVs. The channels are just an extra, not the prime use. If you use Netflix or Huluplus (no VPN router needed, just a VPN), there's no need for 100's of Roku channels (which are primarily an ad for their main web services). And, the most popular of all, Youtube, is nowhere to be found on Roku.

Even for streaming your own content you have to rely on a third part app like Flex. Still doubting I know nothing about both devices?

As you proclaim, you're a mactard and should be banned from this section to protect you from making dumb replies.giggle.gif

And the thread it was being discussed on was about US TV in Thailand, which renders the Apple TV next to useless unless you want to pay through the nose. Duh.

And BTW the Roku with the free USTVNow app provides a whole load of US channels, 2hich was my original point. And you don't need a VPN. I have both, so feel qualified to comment. Clearly you don't so it's a big smug git fail mate.

There's nothing more dangerous than a resourceful idiot.

I see your sense of wit is on a par with your technical expertise.
