2 Russian Tourists Abused by Drunken Thai Teenage Gang



A drunken Thai teenage gang abused 2 Russian tourists on the Pattaya beach but they were immediately arrested by police. The teenagers claimed that they were attacked by the Russians so they followed them and set about them with chairs in revenge.

PATTAYA – November 11, 2013 [PDN]; At 1.15 a.m. Pol. Col. Yongyuth Wanneua (Deputy Inspector of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) sent a police team and volunteer police to inspect the incident of the Thai teenagers assaulting the foreign tourists. The Incident occurred at the side of Pattaya beach, opposite to the group of Best Friend beer bars, Moo 10 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

When the police arrived at the incident the officers found 5 male teenagers carrying weapons such as glass bottles and plastic chairs scuffling with the foreign tourists therefore the police rushed to intervene and arrested 2 Thai male teenagers but the others managed to escape. The 2 arrested teenagers were in a drunken state.

They are identified as Mr. Chaowarit Srikhlai, aged 25 and Mr. Oh, aged 19.The 2 foreign men are identified as Mr. Denis Zraev, aged 33 and Mr. Evgeny Seivnin, aged 34, both of them are Russian, Mr. Denis Zraev suffered an injury to his nose a scratch wound on his right knee and his body was bruised. His friend suffered some cuts and scratches so the police called the rescuers of Sawangboribul Pattaya foundation to perform first aid for the 2 injured tourists.

They are identified as Mr. Chaowarit Srikhlai, aged 25 and Mr. Oh, aged 19.

If Mr. Chaowarit is a teenager, then Mr. Oh is just an adolescent. Just needs some TLC.

If using body mass index, it was probably a fair fight between the groups.

Well, this is what happens when Thailand thinks that it doesnt matter that the quality tourists dont come here anymore.

No disrespect, but a business can not function when a gang of tourists come and share 1 coke.... or if they are feeling extra rich, a beer. (Please do not think I am suggesting they are indian)

And no disrespect to the Russians either. You see them walking all over the place to avoid the 10 THB baht bus fees.

Or the Chinese that are crammed into buses and allocated places where they can and cannot shop.

Sure, there is a lot of sarcasm in what I said, but the reality is that "nevermind" when the high paying tourists stop coming, is not paying the wages and there is no sense of community pride with the Thai population, or they would be fighting to rid certain parts of Thailand from this anti tourist scum that is affecting their livelihood.

So curious why any foreigner would choose to stay in LOS. You all best be watching your ass! It's only going to get worse now that the bar has been set at 500B fine for dangerous assault by a Thai.

Tourist Minister today plans to introduce a Plan to Kill the Goose that lays the Golden Eggs. Chief of Police states that he does not see the need to change the shift rotation as his officiers like to be home with the family for dinner followed by drinking with friends and TV watching.

Tourists on holidays need to be more disciplined and not go out after dark and do not drink outside of their hotel rooms. Land of Smiles is only open from sunrise to sunset .... then it becomes the Hub of Street Gangs!

Getting really sick and tired of all this crap on "quality tourists" It is totally meaningless and as ineffectual as "quality locals". Pattaya acts as a magnet for this sort of depravity and all quality tourists would bring is deeper pockets for the scum bags that roam the streets free from meaningful retribution.

25-year old teenagers, that's a new one.

Everybody that isn't Thai and a tourist no matter what country they are from ,sooner or later that nationality is making headlines!

We see many Russian tourists involved in incidents a little more often then the rest of the world .That's because they are the largest group visiting the LoS these days .I remember over the years belligerent people of all countries that have tourists here in numbers ,getting into skirmishes with the locals all over LoS!

There is a common denominator involved and that is BOOZE !

People that drink , not all of us mind you , get into fights allot more then non-imbibers!

So instead of telling us what Country the tourist or ex-pat are from , they should tell you what state of inebriation they are in . Cause one thing for certain , bad drunks are bad drunks , and every country has them '

Plus ,when your in a "raise some hell " atmosphere like many places in the world has, the bad drunks always seem

bent on ruining a good time for all us Happy Boozers ! It's just the way it is , so its time to stop bad mouthing the countries,

and put the blame where it belongs MR. BOOZE , a friend of the Devil , who rears his ugly face on certain people.

As my Dad use to say " I never go out on NY's Eve , cause that's when all the amateur boozers go out and cause too many problems!" Ain't it the truth , and here it feels like NY's Eve every night in the Party Zones of Thailand ,and a few other cities in the world like the French Quarter in New Orleans or the Combat Zone of Boston ; as just a few more examples!
