tried that already, dont work dude.

tot users, please let me know if you're having the same problem. thanks.

I have been having problems trying to access several website for the past 10 days or so. I have called TOT many times and they are "checking" for me. I'm in Bangkok.

Try either of these:

http://216.109.119.65

or

http://66.94.228.103

This site can help you with DNS lookup (to resolve the IP address of a domain name). You need to remove any http:// and/or www. before the name for it to work though.

You can also go to Start - Run. In the box, type in cmd and press enter. In the black box that appears, type in ping finance.yahoo.com . That should also tell you what IP address is behind the name.

thanks, i've pinged finance.yahoo.com to get the ip address and punched that into IE and worked perfectly, the 216.109.119.65 works also. but i sign into yahoo and have my porfolio set up. the porfolio doesnt work using the ip address, only works with finance.yahoo.com. i've also switched my dns server to point to loxinfo or samart and it seems to work sometimes, then stops to work again.

anymore ideas on what is going on? i'ved asked 3-4 other tot users and they're all not able to access finance.yahoo.com.

I think there's a DNS issue that no one knows or cares about.

My 3rd week now (2nd time in 2 months) I can't post half the time, especially if long post... Can't send Thaivisa PMs. I still cand SEND with gmail, yahoo and hotmail, on 3 different pc's with different XP versions. Other buttons like APPLY, ADD POST, REPLY will also simply hang. I ve manually inserted DNS, reset router, rechecked TOT settings, contacted TOT helpdesk. Same problem persists. Tried with XP and router firewalls off, same problem. Her laptops then work fine if she connects to LAN at her workplace...

Surfing is fine and fast though...

Wife also thinks our "posting and emailing rights" may have been somehow "suspended" by censors and that we may have been flagged and cyber-gagged by authorities in the last months... That also would not surprise me.

tot adsl in hua hin , no problem with that link.

No problem in with TOT ADSL in Jomtien also

try going into your internet setup and changing your DNS servers.

also you can use "dig" or "nslookup" like programs on unix accounts to check dns lookup answers for certain servers.

Sounds like your asking a server with either old or bad info
