- allow the option for EU/EEA/Swiss nationals a choice of a 30/60/90-day visa issued on arrival for a charge (500/1000/1500 baht).

- issue Japanese nationals a 90-day visa on arrival just like for South Korean nationals. Japanese authorities just might bump that 15-days to 30-days for Thai passport holders.

And lastly, I believe Thai nationals should be exempt from obtaining a visa in advance to the UK for tourism or business. Here are my reasons:

- Thais are some of the biggest spenders on luxury goods shopping in the UK.

- There are more UK nationals residing (legal and illegal) in Thailand than there are Thais residing in the UK.

This is an open discussion, so if there's anything you'd like to add, feel free to do so. Remember, this isn't just for the benefit of foreign nationals, but Thais as well. Does anyone know if the number of Thai illegals in Japan has risen past 6000?

I agree but look at the rigid controls the Thai's place on foreigners.
