Re-applying for extension of stay early

Hello,

Since a number of years I'm on a Non-Imm with extension of stay for one year with work-permit. My current extension of stay ends on 12 JAN 2014. For personal reasons I will not be able to be in the country at that time. Is it possible to re-apply for a new extension of stay one month earlier? e.g. could I waive the last month validity of my extension and already receive a new extension of stay/new visa in December?
