English football on tv in CM

I will soon be renting a condo for six months in Chiang Mai. Can anyone tell me anything at all about receiving tv coverage of EPL on local tv.

I understand that a company called Cable Thai Holding has the rights. Do they have an outlet in CM?

Thanks in advance.

Look at these football thread topics for more information on CTH

The thread that masquerades as a True-EPL thread actually includes a lot about CTH - most of the recent stuff is gripes, but if you look back in June to August you will find lots of info about getting it set up and costs etc.

Very good coverage of all live EPL games on CTH but, since you cant watch them all live, you will find it frustrating trying to figure out which match is being replayed on which channel when. The CTH website is very 'clunky' (surprised a poster found it 'good') and the on-screen programme guide is a waste of space. When you stack it all up against the cost in the UK of watching one quarter of the EPL matches (about the max you can get these days on Sky and roughly ThB 2,500 pcm) it is nonetheless a bargain!

You need True (at least Gold package) to watch Champions League, UEFA Cup (if you can be bothered with the 2nd tier cup), Italian and Dutch football and GMM to watch Championship, Spanish and German football. Sometimes England international friendlies are on Thai public TV and occasionally on True. Internet packages, using an internet TV or your PC connected to your TV are also a useful source if you have a fast internet connection. The football threads are the place to go if you want to monitor comment or ask a question about what is developing on the football coverage score - like where will World Cup be shown or where to watch/what channel to watch at home for a particular football match
