We have just purchased a Honda CRV with Garmin navigation. According to Honda, the headunit is by Pioneer.

I have a standalone Garmin unit (2465). I can easily add POis using Garmin POI loader and a notebook.

Can anyone advise how you can add POis to this Honda headunit? The manual makes no reference to loading POIs. There is a USB socket in the unit. I tried connecting this to a notebook but the unit was not recognised by the notebook.

I would also like to transfer the Favourites from the 2465 to the Honda.

Any suggestions?

Just had another look and discovered that everything is loaded onto an SDCard. Very easy to add POIs and Favourites by moving the SDCard to my notebook.
