Banned By Cyber Inspector

I have a website, www.gaythailand.com, and it was recently banned by the Thai government and it is not allowed to be seen in the country. It is NOT a porn site. There are no adult photos or posts allowed. It was just recently banned and it has an active community in Thailand.

I would like to get the ban lifted. Does anyone know the process for this? If not, does anyone know a good law firm that I can hire to help us get the ban lifted?

Thanks!

I don't have any specific solution to offer you, but there are links (in Thai) on the cyber inspector website where you can get in contact with them.

I've just taken a look at your site and while you say it has no obscene materials, that's by your definition remember. They could all be homophobes down at the Thai police department, in which case you probably have a very slim chance of a successful appeal. I really feel for you. I operate a popular dating site (in another country) and it would be devestating (not just for me but the users) if that government blocked it.

I'd be very interested to know the outcome of your appeal, I'd guess others would too. Please post updates here.

I've sent you a PM of several good firms who can help. As these topics unfortunately turn into instructional forums on how to illegally bypass the censor, I've had to clean up some posts and shut it down.
