Protest 'Shutting' Chonburi's Main Gov Admin Center Today

Mentioning this here as it my effect folks in this forum.

In Chonburi today doing paper stuff at the main Gov office opposite the big court house.

There were about 2000-3000 people, it is hard to tell exactly as I was ground level for most of it and not venturing out to count as such !!!

It was much more peaceful than I see on TV and not to loud actually.

It was also hard to tell, who were protesters as such and who were staff (casually with them).

We were there early, there was only 1 table working, most of the staff had then left. The protesters were not in the building as such where we were but no one could get in.

They already had important personal documents of ours "in the system" and the small remaining staff processed them. It was surprisingly non threatening and I had the feeling that the staff remaining did not feel threatened and were sympathetic towards the whole thing.

There was talk of not opening tomorrow at all, but no one seemed to stressed or really knew.

The only thing I can say as a general comment is that it is pretty impressive how quickly these situations can come out of nowhere in Thailand at the moment, the general advice to keep a low profile and get out of these situations could not be better IMHO. I wont be anywhere near the place to know what goes on tomorrow, that's for sure.
