webfact Posted November 29, 2013 Share Posted November 29, 2013 17 year old shot as two gangs collide in South PattayaPATTAYA: -- A 17 year old boy is currently in a serious but stable condition in Hospital after he was shot in the lower chest following a confrontation with an opposing gang in South Pattaya.The incident occurred in front of the 94 Mansion in Soi Khopai early on Friday morning, where two gangs of youths entered into a mass brawl over an earlier motorbike accident whereby the motorbike driven by the opposing gang’s leader was hit by a bike driven by a member of the victim’s gang.The fight continued until the opposing gang leader, known only as “Jo” produced a gun and shot at the other gang, injuring Khun Surachaert who was rushed to Banglamung Hospital. A bullet entered his lower chest and left through his back. I, like many others, have lived a relatively peaceful life on Soi Khopai these last 20+ years. Violence happens everywhere. Your comment is unwarranted and shows your complete ignorance of the area. BTW it is Khopai NOT Korpai another example of your ignorance of the area. I drive down that soi daily 6 times and never had any issues .
