Blue book Farang nameLease hold house can it ?

HI,

I have farang friend and he has a leasehold house (lease for the land is 2 x 30 years registered in his name at the land office )

In the contracts the land and the house are separated the land is lease hold / the house is already freehold..

He has a blue book but the blue book is not in his name?

The developer tells him it might not be possible to get the blue book in his own name

Is this correct ?

A farang cannot be in a Blue Book, it is reserved for Thai nationals. He can be in a Yellow Book, which is reserved for foreigners, but it's value in living here is minimal (IMHO). If easy to get in your area he should get it, if difficult, must ask himslef if it is worth it

and so I am as well, holding a PR, with me name in our Blue House Book and a Thai ID number to boot, so there Langsuan Man

No,Thai ID Card, btw, only the number which I still use in some good ways.
