I usually read TV via its really excellent iPad app. I also subscribe to the emailed TV News Editor. When I click on an interesting story via the News Editor that post automatically opens via my web browser. When that happens I must wait as an irritatingly slow, herky jerky invitation to sign up for a TV newsletter comes up and moves into,place in the center of my screen before I can hit the X and read the post.

This is not a positive experience and, IMO, a really sucky, poor way of generating interest in this new TV offering.

Same happens when I click on a link in Twitter on my iPad or iPhone. Very annoying pop-up which staggers across the screen like something from a 1990s webpage. Hard to remove too. Will unfollow on twitter unless they sort this out; pointless aggravation.

I already posted my annoyance here.... It's really irritating!
