Hi guys,

Does anyone know if you can get hold of paella pans in Bangkok? Or failing that is there a Thai alternative for a large flat nonstick type pan?

Do you mean a paellera,known as a wok in Asia?Most good department stores like Robinson's,Big C etc I would imagine.

Woks have nothing to do with paelleras.

If OP is looking for small size, Emporium has/had similar functionality pans, square instead of round. Never

seen the real thing in BKK.

This seems to be similar and is on a site that ships them from Thailand and sells them in America, obviously very expensive in USA due to shipping but if I can find the seller here in BKK it'd be ideal.

Some are a bit larger!

Maybe try to find a large pizza pan. My friend has a 21 inch one.

A pizza pan would be too thin.

If you can't find one at Central, Zen, of Paragon, you should be able to have one fabricated.

My local roti vendor's griddle is fabricated from an iron disk set into a motorcycle rim.
