Curt1591
Well, at least they didn't burn down Central yet ... Wrong is wrong. You can't compare apples with oranges. They need to be prosecuted. Exactly, along with Thaksin, Jataporn and all the red "protestors" in 2010, and those from 2006, and 2008 etc etc ... not selective enforcement when it suits oh I see it is ok to use snipers to kill 90 people and wound hundreds???????? Thats the difference. Now, we all know it was 'mysterious dark figures'. The police and army, armed with M16s, shotguns loaded with 00 Buck, and sniper rifles, were simply there for traffic control. BTW 00 Buck has to be the most indiscriminate round anyone could shoot. It tantamount to firing ten 30 caliber rifles into a crowd. bkkfaranguy
There really is no difference in a yellow thug looking to topple democratic government than a red thug.Arson, AK-47s and knock-off M79 grenade launchers are a few differences that come to mind. Goggle Balck May 1992 and you may want to rethink your comment! As far as I know yellow shirts as a civillian political phenomenon did not exist in 1992. So they did not wear yellow shirts then but its the same players/ struggle today as it was in 1992 the rich powerfull elites and the military against the underclass poor. In fact the General at the time that ordered the massacure appoligized resigned then the rich powerfull elites awarded him with the position of CEO for True. kirk0233
Seized government offices reportedly damaged This must be so embarrassing to most Thais. A mob led by a lunatic who wants to be dictator ruining tourism, threatening the current government, trashing government offices while the police do nothing and making Thailand look more like banana republic than it already is on international news. Loles
Oh really ? This is unbelievable ! They are only peaceful protesters with whistles. I guess the damage comes from officers whose work there, and they wanted to blame the yellow glory above suthep smart head.
dduval99
In Europe we have our yearly "End of Winter Sales". Everything cheap, cheap. Here in Thailand we have the yearly "Demonstration Give Take Away Sales". Everything for free
ovenman
Yet another report from Thaksin's Bureau Of Propaganda, so I don't know how much of it to believe....? It's probably about as believable as the damage routinely done to jet skis after a rental in either Phuket or Pattaya.

Dogmatix
It was the office of the computer crimes police who block websites and track people down under the evil Computer Crimes Act. Couldn't have happened to a nice bunch of people.

Basil B
Where's Edward Snowden on all this? Julian Assange? Fox Moulder? Anyone... F*** me! The truth's out there! Edward Snowden, always wondered why the Yank's did not cancel R'n'R in Pattaya (April 2009) when the reds kicked off in Bangkok and moved to Pattaya for the Asian leaders Pow Wow, obviously had they canceled they could not have all their ships moored up in Sattihip Bay with all that high-tech electronics, spying on all their friends. Thai at Heart
Police have begun to inspect the damage left by the demonstrators at Government Complex. Reports of the inspection show that the buildings second floor office has been rummaged through and government property looted and damaged. CPUs and hard-disks have gone missing, whereas CCTV cameras have been destroyed - making it impossible to know who committed the crimes, said police. It pretty obvious the damage was caused by cabinet members and their staff to destroy and hide evidence of their corruption before the protestors arrived Sorry but: lol! It is a possibility. There would seem to be a good chance that there has been creative accounting in more than one 'project'. No doubt there will be some records somewhere and given the arrogance of the PT gang perhaps they didn't bother to keep the 'other' records off site and well hidden. Last one out destroy the records may well be in this mess. Perhaps linked, I know a senior finance official who put his pen down and walked out several months back, after being 'told' to sign multiple documents which he believed to be totally inappropriate. Besides his concerns about the morality of the subject of the documents he had very serious concerns that he could well end up in jail. Indeed is a possibility, but so remote... Do you think they had the chance to steal and put in safe cpus and hard disks, because of that? No printed documents? Oh well, everything can happen in Thailand, so if happened like that not much of a surprise but a lol like I wrote before. Of you've been in most decent sized government offices, nothing worthwhile is committed to anything digital. Paper can be burned. Simple.
