Lancelot
Your hunch is as good as mine but if he really hopes for the police to start shooting on protesters that is truly evil. I am not saying it is not his plan as i don't know but I do know if it is its evil. He most likely does not want the police to actually fire on protestors; however, some news coverage showing protestors with bloody faces would garner support for him, keep the opposition in the streets. News coverage showing his supporters ganging up on a cop and beating him senseless hurts his cause. I don't know if he is evil, but I think he is not stupid. This is just Thai politics, winner take all, no compromises.
Loles
Very nice work idiots. I guess they were 10-12 bastards against one man. They are a pity thefts cause they stole a phone. I really hope the officer's colleges will handle this situation well, if not now, later, when suthep is vanished in the think of toilet.
Trujillo
Reportedly, Pol.Sen.Sgt.Maj. Sunthorn suffered with head injuries and wound infections in his knees, causing the medical team to operate on his nose and keep him at the hospital. Seriously you guys, do you honestly think that any of this report accurately reflects what happened in fact? My guess is that whatever "injuries" occurred were trivial and that everything here was cooked up in a Thai-normal fashion of exaggeration for effect. I have to laugh at all these posters with the hook, line and sinker firmly embedded in their gullets.

DocN
Propaganda. Maybe. And how much corruption paid for the cop's "Smartphones" Most reds cannot afford one! Pitty that his dad did not own Red Bull, and the, maybe, invented assaillants did not use a Ferrari to hurt, sorry kill acop. Be the latter you get away free. Bet daddy's in the ruling gang. Justice? Yeah...wild speculation. My ex- gf was buying a TV (before we met), that she clearly couldn't afford. She paid 5oo THB every month, to pay it off! Smartphones cost 4.000 Baht, if you don't get the newest model, so...what the f%$# are you on about?

Popular Post NanLaew
When did this happen? Very bad indeed. Despicable acts normally reserved for red shirt thugs.Christ on a bike! What does it take some people to understand that thuggery and abuse by a criminally-minded minority is NOT the unique preserve of any particular group of people. There's Chelsea thugs and there's Dortmund thugs. Different shirts, same bloody neanderthal! Still lapping up that peaceful yellow pap are you?

SICHONSTEVE
This is the future if Suthep gets his way. He should change the yellow shirts to brown shirts, more inline with their thugish actions. Always nice when people posting but haven't a clue about the topic. These are NOT the yellow shirts. The yellow shirts were the PAD.... Same same but different. They changed the name, different t-shirt but they are EXACTLY the same mob as the yellow shirts They are NOT the yellow shirts, just the same as the yellow shirts are not the Democrats (who had a frosty relationship together for a period)!! Maggusoil
Rent a mobs. Sometimes paid, sometimes not. Resorting to violence for the crime of "observation" is extreme. It just goes to show where 'some' people are coming from. Where is the middle way in all this?
SouthernMan3
Let us not forget that as in ANY and EVERY group, there are extremists. To ALL extremists : Please stop. This is a NON-VIOLENT show of the peoples desires. Do not ruin it for us all by behaving this way. You are just lowering yourselves to the level of the red shirts. WE THE PEOPLE ARE NOT this way. Thank you for listening kap

tyler2208
Yellow thugs... only thugs. Educated ones, they apparently learned very well how to kick a policeman. How anyone can support Suthep and his thugs is still one of the great uncovered misteries of today's world... another mensa candidate! I support suthep, so I am a great uncovered mystery (note spelling) of todays world... according to you. So just to make sure we are on the same page here... A small group of people (security detail to be more precise) beats up a policeman, who was then ordered to stop by suthep once he had knowledge of the fact, leads you to assume all yellow shirts including suthep are thugs.... I guess for you, the renaissance was something that just happened to other people!
kirk0233
It is most unfortunate that most Thais do not have the responsibility that a democracy requires; the police engage in crime and don't police unless someone is on their back, politicians have grand construction schemes suitable for skimming money, but cannot provide clean water and protesters destroy buildings and harm onlookers while rallying for a dictatorship. animatic
After last week the paranoia on all sides is ramped up. The police are and never have been aligned with the current anti-government protestors, and have always been aligned with Thaksin's crew, so it is easy to see why they highly distrust any policemen video taping them. That said; This is disgusting behaviour. And as Suthep said when he heard, it should not happen. We don't know what was said at the time, and here, face can be lost with just a word or two , and that can set off any thai and then several, regardless of sides or social issues at hand. We also must deplore all such violences over face issues as much. Edited December 12, 2013 by animatic

There are not very related to the peaceful protest. Please delete it from your mind, or at least treat it separately. When told, the great supreme secretary general leader had immediately commanded a halt to such actions.

SICHONSTEVE
Bring on the election & get this sxxx over & done with. Surely you mean, bring on the election and put matters back to square one!! An election, with these buffalo's rather stupidly nominating Yingluck as their candidate for PM, should they win, is only going to inflame matters, isn't it!! Popular Post tragickingdom
This is something that might happen to all of you in Bangkok if Suthep and his thugs are able to form an unelected Mussolini like fascist council. Anti democracy protesters may claim Thaksin is anti democratic but they never cared about anything else than their own. Dear leader Suthepclaims to speak for all Thais, just as his friends in North Korea, though there were a few hundred thousand people on the streets and 70% of the Thai people do not vote for democrat party thugs.
oldsailor35
Well, now I know where Suthep got his wild ideas from: Yep, that´s the guy, good ol´ Benito! Maybe Suthep is a reincarnation of him? "Fascism conceives of the State as an absolute, in comparison with which all individuals or groups are relative, only to be conceived in their relation to the State." "Let us have a dagger between our teeth, a bomb in our hands and an infinite scorn in our hearts." "Above all, Fascism, in so far as it considers and observes the future and the development of humanity quite apart from political considerations of the moment, believes neither in the possibility nor the utility of perpetual peace. It thus repudiates the doctrine of Pacifism — born of a renunciation of struggle and an act of cowardice in the face of sacrifice. War alone brings up to its highest tension all human energy and puts the stamp of nobility upon the people who have the courage to meet it." - and so and on and on, ad infinitum... Brace for impact, Thailand. Head back , Chin out, Arms waving, Fascism the message, this is Suthep , an exact copy of Benito.
oldsailor35
Suthep ......" KuhnPaen
This whole protest is like watching the dialogue parts of a porno movie. Can't we just skip to the part where they take over and the Reds get their turn next year to build tire fortresses with sharpened sticks? Maybe their monkey/caveman brain will kick in one day and realize that this isn't the way to go about things.
