What is the most expensive bar bin you had to pay at one bar only when you were out on the piss in Thailand.

Me - I'm embarrassed to say around 5K from a beer bar , and it completely tapped me out. (needed to hit the money machine) Mind you had a laff, apart from paying the bin.

My first trip to Bangkok a lady asked me to buy her and her friends a drink . I saw only two of them so I said ok get your friends a drink on me . She said thats very nice of me , do I want to ring the bell ? Not knowing what that ment , I said sure , why not

I can laugh about it now .

No worries I rang the bell on prior occassion, luckily only 10 people about including staff, so didnt hurt so much.

Reminds me of my most expensive bar bill for 3 cups of tea. @ 25 baht each.

I always used to buy the odd beer for customers even though i do not drink.

One particular night there i was in a good mood and i bought all the staff and the reg.customers

( 4 of them ) a drink.

The land lady was out but came back just before i was leaving having paid the bill of one thousand three hundred and sixty five. ( I,ll never forget it. )

She heard i,d done this and in a non polite way said what about mine, i,ll have so and so.

I said the bills already settled due to her attitude and she went into a rave calling me a kineow ****** so an so.

I,ve not been back to the bar since, in fact she went off with one of the customers and the place shut down, but it left a real bad taste in my mouth for the place.

19.000 bath for 3 rings in the bell at Hawaii bar in Soi Eric, the bar f!!k head ripped me off big, I got mad and she just called for the police and had to pay up, did not know how many ladies she had in the bar.

Took me just 45 minutes to reach that sum, the b!!!!h she know I have the money to talk and she must have really needed that money. Now I sit in bars around a pling with 1000 per round fixed price and I smile allot doing it. belive me i never forget that face off her, one day,,,,B!!!!h i get you!!!!

Not as sordid as it seems. I remember one time at the same place a member of a consulate bar fined every girl in the place for a party. Don't know if he is still alive though.

Geezus Crist, Kerry! How do you spend 42,000 baht in one night?? I spent 8,200 once, but that was for 20 people at Hollywood on Ratchada, drinking for 4 hours including appetizers and generous tips throughout.

7900bht in the huntsman (i think thats the name) under the Landmark hotel. Just me and the wife, red wine, band drinks and bar snacks. ( i nearly fell off my chair)

And that doesn't include the 12,000 baht the FLB Bar charges to host a party in their bar ! I actually went there with 60,000 in my pocket, just in case.

That party was a bit of a send-off for a bunch of us that had just finished working in Afghanistan. It wouldn't have been too bad, but it was also Ben's last night as the manager there, so a few of his friends dropped by.

I don't recall ringing the bell that often, but it was a full house, and I told the mamasan to give drinks to everyone (customers, girls and service staff). Adds up pretty quick.

I've heard a rumour that someone else once spent 126,000 baht in the same bar. I've been trying to figure out how you could do that without everyone in the place being passed out on the floor by midnight.

In Pattaya I've blown 60k plus on a few occasions, one being millenium.Ive been with 3 pals and bar fined every bird in a certain Chrome Pole establishment in Pattayaland took them to the Penthouse partyroom and ....partied....now that WAS a BIG BILL.

Things I've seen include a street full of GOGO's being barfined and all having to shut.A certain high class restaurant "Br--o's" struggling to cater with the amount of high class champers and red ordered by one party, bill rumoured to be over 350k.
