I bought one many years ago in the Menswear department with the wallets and other accessories in Central in Bangkok. Try Central in Pattaya, the department store not the sports section.

I bought one at Central Pinklao, Third Floor, a couple of years ago and still use it. I think the section was Super Sports, or something like that.

I bought mine at Super Sports on the 3rd level, beach end, at Central Festival. They do not stock them but you must pay in advance and order off a brochure. Took about a week.

You don't have to order off a brochure, you or your friend can go buy right now from Fascino on Pattaya Nua. I was just there, the Omron (don't know model number) was 1,390 baht.
