Many, many years ago I was involved in doing a story for TV in Australia on the Pattaya Orphanage. From memory, it was then being run by Father Brennan who was doing a magnificent job!

The orphanage is on Sukhumvit next to North Star library between Central and North Pattaya roads. In past years, tickets were sold at 200 baht each. I know the popular magician Doc Penguino will be performing at 7pm. I also believe your ticket includes a meal.
