This sounds crazy but I registered for a school 2 years ago offering private Thai lessons. Circumstances changed and I did not pursue my studies. Went to 2-3 hours out of 180 hours. How would you go about asking for a (partial) refund 2 years later, if at all? Thank you.

You would struggle getting a refund back home after the fact let alone here. Bit late in the day and the odds are around 99.9999% against, but it wouldn't hurt to ask I guess. Check school policy.

Just go to them, explain your situation and ask them very politely if they could refund your payment and there's a 99% chance they will smile and agree to refund it.

So in answer to your question, no you won't get a refund.
