Sak Yan's.. Do You Have One?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have been researching Sak Yan's as you may have seen a few threads I have started about them.

Today I went to Chiang Mai to go to a few temples to ask if they had anyone available to talk to me about them and perhaps have one done.

I only went to 3 temples and only 1 had a really chatty gent doing them. My girlfriend and I talked with him for a while and we found out he only did text versions of Sak Yans and I am wishing to incorporate a picture into mine such as a turtle or tiger.

So we went to the other 2 temples and no luck.

My girlfriend (who is Thai) says you won't find many doing Sak Yans in central Chiang Mai and we will have to go further out, also she seemed very shy to go in a temple and ask about Sak Yans for me.

So really I'm trying to find a good place to get my Sak Yan or if anyone knows an Ajarn in Chiang Mai.

(edit) We live in Mae Taeng so if anyone has any info for this area tooo that would be great.

Hope you can help.

Cheers
