h90
I am pretty successful on loosing weight but I get extreme bored of my food. Maybe someone has some additional ideas: requirement: almost zero carbohydrates, as low fat as possible. It shouldn't by much pre-processed and it should be available in Thailand. Currently I eat: cucumber tomato onion garlic vinegar German "Salz-Dill Gurken" (Salt-cucumber) all pretty worthless beside fiber and vitamins water jasmin tea soda water all kinds of meat, pork, beef, chicken, deer zero percent yoghurt selfmade "dried ham/sausage" from France (bigC extra, former carefour has it) tuna in water cans Eggs (OK they have some fat but good quality food) protein powder with 0% milk (bad on the carbohydrates but good on the protein) As exceptions I sometimes eat carrot (too many carbohydrates) and once per week one small apple There are tons of fat free milk products but I can't find them in Thailand There would be shrimps but I don't know where I get antibiotics free one. Any more ideas? I am not so bored of eating every day the same that not eating at all seems to be better than another cucumber tomato salad with chicken and egg..... tominbkk
Keto diet followers would say you need fat in your diet. Adding some mayo, olive oil, and some nice oil/vinegar dressings to your food will increase the palatability. Fat also satiates you quicker and keeps you satisfied longer. check this out: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/fat-health_b_4343798.html

I don't see what is positive on adding extra fat (beside the taste, of course). I try to avoid too much fat, but have no problem when the meat is a bit fatter than I though first....I just don't add extra fat like mayo. But well taste might be a bit of an issue....
