BugJackBaron
Hare Krishna. I saw them on walking street 2 nights ago. They were chanting and selling the Baghavad Ghita at 100 baht a pop.. Yes, they seemed to all be Russians. I have nothing against them though they are an odd bunch.
Costas2008
Here you see what inflation does! Used to be the equivalent of 10 baht in my days. But again they must have "hidden expenses".......paying the local police......the local Russian mafia etc. So we shouldn't complain.

ARGUSEYE
Russian Hare Krishna activists in Pattaya now? I DO believe it, saw a large procession of them last Summer in the Georgian resort town of Batumi. They looked pretty much out of place there. Could not believe my eyes. anon8
Krishnas are doing their thing past 2 weeks or so on Beach rd.. But they dont look Russian, and one of their guys was speaking to Hindu guys, definitly not Russian. But maybe there are more than one group. I wish they didnt carry amplifiers and loudspeakers, noise they make is so loud, my headphones are no help to block their singing. Jingthing
I like them. Diversity! Not that I'd buy anything off of them. What's next? Russian scientologists?
