local nurse/GP

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just moved from Koh samui to Bkk and i am struggling to find of a local nurse where i can get my weekly jab (Vit B12) i am living in the ploenchit area and have only been steered towards hospitals where upon asking have been given some strange looks :/ any recommendations are truly welcome (i don't mind travelling a little).

I'm sorry to ask a personal question, however, why wouldn't you just do yourself? Unless you are physically disabled, in which case I'm terribly sorry and don't mean to offend. You should able to give yourself the shot very easily and without assistance. In fact, I'd rather do my own! Having had injections from Thai nurses and me doing it myself, I'd much rather do it myself......If you have had them for any amount of time, you should know the procedure. Alcohol the site, and the rubber stop on the bottle, keep everything sterile on the needle and inject. You should be fine.
