Mosquito repellent, electronic, clip on unit

Anyone know where I can buy the battery operated mosquito repellent unit in Thailand.

They are sold in the US and other countries, but I can't find them here, they really work.

You just clip the unit on and it keeps bugs away - but mine needs refilling.

A US one is OFF! Clip-On, but there are other companies selling them.

Thanks

Please let me know which Tesco you saw this at... I looked at a few but didn't find.

Thanks

Try using Listerine!

Dab it on your arms and legs.

If I dab Listerine on my scrotum, stop me catching crabs?

Just curious.

Ignoring the last comment.

I did find it at Tesco at the end of Soi 24 Sukhumvit, and also at Big C there.

The unit has a fan in it that's quite noisy - not sure if this is normal, may return it.

Has anyone else used this, is it usually noisy?

Many thanks

The other one I have doesn't have a fan, much more pleasant to use - but if it works and prevents me from using that horrid repellent - then I'm happy.

They say the noise emitted by the clip-on is the sound of the male mosquito. It's only the female that bites. When the female hears the sound of the male, she suddenly develops a headache & flys off - lol

I have never thought repellant liquid effective, probably because I had already been bitten by the time I applied it, but on Tuesday I tarried past 1800 at the park after my jogging, and was surrounded by them; repellant was handed me, I applied it, and the effect was dramatic, all the little black spots circling for landing left the pattern never to reappear. I am converted and shall always have some handy whenever I expect to be out after dark.

I've tried everything, from drinking lots of lemon grass tea to soaking my feet and legs in vinegar. Still remain a magnet to the little buggers. Was thinking of covering meself in low-voltage wire mesh.

A DEET spray does work but doesn't last. Always carry a spare can in the car, for an occasional top-up.

Would be very interested in any feed-back on the effectiveness of these clip- on units

I'm using the clip on unit from Big C. Its pretty good, not 100% perfect, but it tends to keep them away.

Not expensive, worth the use, refills are not so expensive.
