Concerns loom for the mentally ill if Bangkok gets shut down

Featured Replies

I am a bit confused ... when the article mentions the mentally ill, do they mean Thai people or the actual government or what?

No, they are referring to you.

What a load of cr_p, how did the mentally ill survive a few years back when Bkk was at a stand-still due to flooding. Just more nonsense from over-paid and completely devoid of any intelligence public servant

Oh God! A million mentally ill thai patients!!! Thats about 1 out of every six thais! This is real serious. Thailand would rank number one as the highest percentage of country's population that is mentally sick. No wonder! Hub Of "Khun Bahs!"

Why does this tune immediately jump into my mind?

I think this one gets my vote for the biggest non-story put out today. Concerns for cancer patients, kidney patients, heart patients etc to follow?

Be the change that you wish to see in the world.

Mahatma Gandhi

Not forgetting whose supporters invaded at least 1 hospital in 2010?

With the abysmal state of mental health resources in Thailand, it would be nice to see an equal level of concern for the mentally ill throughout the whole year by the man in charge of it.

So politicians and the bib are scared

Sad to say, but this number does not include those who don't receive any medical help, like my mother-in-law who runs around attacking "family" members with an ax and knives ...

How many shall we count on that 'unofficially unknown' side?
