Can't wait for all the moaning and crying about how Ban Ki-Moon is a red shirt supporter because he is not 100% behind the kaos.

So who's playing Agent 86 and 99?

Abhisit probably has the better profile for 86, Chitpas for 99? Can see that working...

Can see The Chief being played by either Gen. Prayuth or Suthep depending on how you want to look at it...

Thaksin can play Mr Big - a perfectly suitable role

Chalerm can play The Claw... Hahaha...

Your comment will probably be over many people's heads but it really made my day. Thanks.

We need someone to play George "the animal" Steel or Dr Tanaka

Excellent post. So come on you pro government experts, let's see you pick the bones out of that!

When you provide the transcript of Yinglucks discussion with Ban, maybe we'll have a level playing field for discussion. There must be a copy out there, otherwise how would abhisit know what Yingluck had said. Of course if Ban met Yingluck and abhisit at the same time, why didn't abhisit make his rebuttals of Yinglucks "lies" there and then, he seems so confident of his story.

Why don't YOU look for it yourself and then you will have the chance to put it infront of everybody?

Place: Playschool (Thailand)

Protagonists: Teacher (UN - Ban Ki Moon) - Schoolgirl (Yingluck) - Schoolboy (Abhisit)

SG - "Teacher teacher... SB pulled my hair!"

T - "Kids, be good. It's important to keep friendly and not be violent in class"

SB - "Teacher is not true! I did not pull hair, and SG stolen my snack!"

T - "..."

Ummm... Not sure if you got the initial reference... Nevertheless, I'm sure we could get Surapong and Jatuporn to play those characters ;)

Seems Yingluck spoke to Ban, then Ban spoke to Abhisit and these conversations are in private. Abhisit's letter may be all we have to go on but it's content is pretty clear. Now it is public, let's wait a day and see if PT care to respond with their own letter addressing the arguments laid out in Abhisit's letter. I bet they won't...

I believe it happened like this.

Ban - Hello PM

PM - Hello Mr Ban

Ban - I am calling to ask each party in Thailand what they want me to give them for new year.

PM - sorry, I think it's not appropriate for you to give me a gift, it could be considered corruption

Ban - no no, this is hypothetical, I mean, if you could have anything what would it be?

PM - well, I suppose a small box of crystallised fruit would be acceptable

Ban - (confused) are you sure?

PM - yes, that's what I would like.

Ban - After discussing with all parties in Thailand, I have reached a list of demands for each party, based on this time in the new year where each party should be willing to reach a compromise, and show their love for their fellow Thais.

Chalerm would like to see all members of the public stop breaking the law, and then discussion can begin.

Aphisit would like to see a non partisan reform committee to adjust the constitution before election.

and the Prime Minister would like a small box of crystallised fruit.

Why would they bother. abhisit is an ex MP, he's not bothering to contest an election, his party and followers are supporting a movement (both financially and physically, including the BMA) that seeks to overthrow the democratic principals of elections and government. Why give him the oxygen of publicity?

will you wake up abhisit. the UN are concerned only with there being democracy not anarchy

Well newbie, if the UN did their homework properly (ditto, the rest of the Western press) then they wouldn't be supporting this government as it has lost it's legitimacy to govern as it has abused it's power.

Just where are they going to get people to replace the 308 that will be disqualified soon? Drag them off the rice paddies I suppose like they did before!!

Personally I expect the Pheu Thai spokesperson Promphong to file some charge at one court or another, possibly defamation or just 'acts of rebellion, inciting unrest and causing a state of chaos"

seeks to overthrow the democratic principals of elections and government That's how you read: Reform before Elections?

Even though you wear Red glasses, I still hope you understand that reform is badly needed in this corrupt country. Or not needed as long as Thaksin is in charge?

Reform before Elections with a not elected council: seeks to overthrow the democratic principals of elections and government

Reforms are badly needed, but through a democratic process, not due to illegal occupation of public places and disruption of everyday activities.

I ask again, why Democrat did not make reforms back during their government? They had more than 2 years for do that. But they didn't.

Thaksin, Suthep, Chalerm, Abhisit. They all are liars, corrupt and opportunists. Thailand not need any of them.

Excellent post. So come on you pro government experts, let's see you pick the bones out of that!

I forgot to add in my previous post, the idea that the Democrat Party is not helping to organize this is laughable. Not only are Suthep, Satit and other Democrats core leaders, but Abhisit himself was on stage last night. And why are the BMA apparently helping the protesters move barricades to the protest site?

Sunai @sunaibkk 11h

BMA truck was seen transporting barricades to protesters near Pathumwan intersection #BangkokShutdown pic.twitter.com/quwVvCC3LG

This is Abhisit yesterday - hard to keep claiming he has no involvement or affiliation with the PDRC when he goes up on stage and encourages the protesters...

Bdydu_tCcAAcwHE.jpg

"Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva?" Didn't he resign from the Party in order to party with the demonstrators and avoid insurrection charges?

The biggest liar is Yingluck. Have a look at the interview she gave with Aljazeera, especially the part that she had nothing to do with the amnesty bill.

why Democrat did not make reforms back during their government? Because they didn't try to give amnesty to themselves and the didn't make THB 800 BILLION disappear to name a few. You need more examples why reform is needed after 2.5 years of PT/Thaksin?

You are truly a newcomer. You see things isolated, ie without knowing the past.

I think he just showed up as a Thai citizen. Some play back door politics from a safe place like a 6 star hotel in the desert and some just walk around in Bangkok.

And you play who is more liar between YL and Abhisit or Suthep or Chalerm? All of them are danger for this country. Or Suthep and Abhisit are your heroes? Because if you are sided, I will avoid to reply to your posts and being bullied again :)

I know the past, I was here in 2010 (You will tell this in next post) AND I condemned Red Shirts protests back then.

So? Who is the short-sighted?

Dear Ban, I'm not guilty of any form of murder.... At least PTP is trying to play the softly softly play, call me ignorant but I really dont think she wants violence, I think if it were not for a certain big brother she would be out already. Suthep on the other hand maybe he should write a letter to Ban as well, explaining his plans.

I think the PTP is very wisely trying to avoid violence. That may be because if the army kill anyone, regardless of the circumstances they will be in an awkward position after getting the DSI to help get Abhisit and Suthep accused of murder but even so I think it's the right approach.

When you say I'm not guilty of any form of murder' I assume you're referring to Abhisit. There hasn't been a trial yet so he can't be guilty and if you look at the evidence it seems highly unlikely that he will be found guilty. The army however would at the very least appear to be guilty of disobeying orders but the government would rather not upset them even though they promised justice for those killed in 2010.

Why should there be any moaning and crying, he hasn't taken sides just tried to get people talking.

I'm sure you'd love some moaning and crying so you'd have an excuse for some of your own.

Thanks for that.

The only point I might disagree with is that regarding violence from the protesters. Whilst they have on the whole been peaceful there have been as far as I know some violent elements, as there always will be, who tag onto demonstrations like these in order to instigate violence. That doesn't stop the protesters in general being non violent. The same could be said about the red shirt protests in 2010. The only difference being that there seemed to be a lot of incitement to violence coming from the leaders but again this doesn't mean that the majority were intent on violence just that there were elements who were encouraged by the leaders.

The OP says Abhisit, on behalf of the Democrats sent a letter clarifying facts as he saw them. I can't see any mention of one from Yingluck. There was no mention either of a transcript of the conversations with Ban. I don't know how Abhist knew about what was said bit it may have been told to him during the call with Ban and he may have wanted to put his thoughts in an open letter for all to see.

If there is a transcript or letter from Yingluck I'd like to see it as well.

Just a thought maybe she just smiled and walked away. smile.png

Well apparently at the time in question Abhisit was a puppet of the military so had to do as he was told. You may not remember that as it was discarded when it was decided to try and get Abhisit and Suthep charged with murder even though they didn't kill anyone and didn't order anyone to do it. A bit difficult if you claim he wasn't really in charge.

Of course the puppet now is the PTP who despite claiming they would seek justice for those killed in 2010 have not made any attempt to hold the military to account even though they've had time to do so.

Exactly why would they. If there's no record of what Yingluck said and they don't give any information regarding it you can just claim everything Abhisit claims is probably untrue. I'm pretty certain that Ban will know anyway.

Grow up man, He was simply writing done answers to Questions and statements made by Ban for CLARIFICATION purposes. If his statements do not represent their conversation, Ban should refute them.
