Lumphini Park Room?

Featured Replies

Hi. Being disabled, it's not so fun hunting rooms. Anyone know a good place near the park <= B6000/mo? Would like some idea before I go hit the ground. Thx!

You can pitch a tent in Lumphini park and stay for free at the moment. (free food as well!)

I think this is more likely to happen than being able to find a room for < 6,000 baht a month.

But maybe somebody will be able to come up with something?

Try Phu Ping Residence on Narathiwas road soi 8/1. Its near BTS Chongnonsi

I stayed there couple of years ago. Not walking distance to lumpini park but a short motorcycle/ taxi ride.

I remember they were abt 6k a month plus utilities

I just love it how these forums always attract the highest of the high rollers. To be honest, if you can only afford to pay 6,000 baht a month for a room, what are you doing thinking about coming to live in Thailand? The air ticket alone must represent several months' wages/pension/benefit for you.

Lived here for years. Believe it or not, I simply like simple rooms as I am seldom there. Believe if or not, on disability pension, I'd have a crap life in USA. ;-)
