The house I live in has a large Philips wall TV connected to cable there is 2 cables from wall socket a brown and white that both plug in at the lower back of the TV as it's close to the wall I can't see where they go without taking the TV off the wall I have no info of the model and no book is there anyway to find out if it's a Digital TV there is no box but I was thinking about getting Digital but won't bother if it means a new TV.

If it is digital then there will a box somewhere

Terrestrial Digital TV has not arrived in Thailand yet, as far as I know

The only digital is from Satellite

If it's a wall mounted flat HD screen, it probably is digital. Measure the diagonal screen size in inches, then go to Google and key in the info such as Phillips HD TV 32". Then look for a picture of the TV that most resembles yours. That should give you your answer.

You can get digital TV through the cable my next door neighbour has it and he is with the same supplier as myself.

I tried the Google suggested but you get sales sites I logged on the Philips web page but I need input info so looks like I will have to take the TV off the wall .

Thanks for the help

Don't know how old, when I came to house it had satellite but not many channel so changed to cable which had more channels and was cheaper but I only have the basic service .

As I mentioned in previous post my neighbor recently upgraded to Digital and company came and connected a decoder but as it turned out although he has lots of channels mostly crap he lost BBC and Fox which he had before so he went back to a basic service .

The list of digital channels the company gave him showed the BBC etc but it just jumped past them and no amount of sign language resolved the issue so he is going to try another supplier.
