Architect in Pattaya.

Hi Guy's and Girl's,

Does anyone know a cheap and cheerful Architect or anyone who could do a drawing for a bar layout in Pattaya. The project is currently a shop, but will be changed it into a Sports Bar. The drawing does not need to be anything fancy just a floor layout plan to make sure everything fits in the space.

If that's all you want just download SketchUp, very easy learning curve, they tout the 3D aspect but works fine for plain 2D, just keep everything to X & Y, don't give any object depth.

Thanks' for your reply will download it now. But the problem is that i am currently not in Thailand so i can't physically go and take the site measurements myself. The floor-space has a few pillars etc, so i want to make sure the measurements are correct. I have been in the Construction Industry for over 20 years now and could do it myself if i was there, but i don't arrive for 2 weeks yet. So i would like to get things organized before i arrive, as we all know time is money and if i could get the plan done inexpensively it will save me some time.

If time is money then why are you willing to waste your money by expecting someone who you don't know to do the job correctly. A two week delay is not going to doom your business plan. There are plenty of other things here in Thailand that will doom it

Sorry, but I have had experience in trying to get Thais to do something related to construction remotely and have always been disappointed

Get a local with a tablet/laptop with a webcam to put it on a table in the space and walk around with a measuring tape following your directions.

Or maybe a Pattaya local here on TV would do it for you for a couple thousand.

Then you can use Sketchup yourself. . .
