Scan through the forums for reports of motorcycle accidents. You'll be horrified. You should be aware of how very risky it is to ride a two-wheeler in Thailand. rod2011 Posted January 19, 2014 Share Posted January 19, 2014 There are loads of scooter rental companies in Ao Nang, just walk down the main road are there is one every 100 yards. They are all normally about the same price and I don't know of any that rip people off, it is not the same as Phuket. Accidents are frequent in Thailand but if you drive sensibly, don't drink and drive and wear a helmet should be fine.
