Does anyone know if the Khota Bahru visa run is still a viable option? ( Given the current unrest in that area) There used to be a "package" trip operating from BKK by air - is this still runnung?

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
