Actually it isn't that simple a question, I know many foreigners who have been located (existed) in Thailand for a considerable length of time, doesn't mean they have lived here.

Define 'live' ... it's a little more complex they the basic question.

If I send more 6 months of a 12 month period in Thailand, my Government says I'm 'living' here.

Some folk cocoon themselves in their Farang ghetto, surrounded by Westerners a large proportion of the time, but live here all year round.

Are they living in Thailand?
