PATTAYA:--A Pattaya Police Volunteer, who was on his way to Pattaya Beach Road and to Pattaya Police Station, was involved in a road crash on the Naklua Road on Thursday which resulted in him sustaining suspected leg and hip fractures.

Rescue Services and Police made their way to the scene of the crash in front of Soi 33 on the Naklua Road. Khun Rungreung aged 55 was lying on the pavement outside of a row of beer bars and appeared to be in considerable pain.

He described how he was forced to take evasive action to avoid a car which had turned onto the main road. As he moved to the left, his bike struck a temporary street sign and mounted the pavement.
