Let's explain in short words to Thailand what democracy is about, and why is a fail here.

As many other farangs, and thais, I believe there is no real democracy in this country (also in Spain, my home country) what makes me

me even more surprised of find so many disturbs and people fighging in Thailand for some politics colors.

But whenever I have try to explain it, I get an evil eye on me... and only 2 thais have agree with my concepts about thailand.

With my previous topic, I found there are quite a lot of thais of thais in thai visa, so I propouse this topic as

a chance to explain to Thailand what we think democracy is, and why it is not working in Thailand.

For me it is difficult to explain what is democracy in a few words, I just could say, it is the most succefull way of manage the power in society

that humanity has find until now, have the basic rules is that each citizien can give one vote. Democracy allow to diferent ideologies and points of

view of the population, to be represented by different politics groups,and to work together to take care of their country.

In my opinion, I would like to tell to Thais that their main politics groups, have get lost in what should be their main purpose, to represent the

voice of people that agree with the ideology they propose, it looks they just want to win, as who want to win a sport competition. I in a real

democracy a politic group can be so usefull for the country in the goverment as in oposition to the goverment
