Suthep will be arrested soon, should surrender to avoid violence: Chalerm

Your time is getting real short Suthep, time to kiss the wife and kids goodbye, your Charleam man real soon.

Isn't there an arrest warrant out for Thaksin ??(If not, there should be). Did the Police do anything about that. The only Police action was for some top cop flying to wherever Thaksin was and receive some insignia for his promotion to a higher level and looked very pleased in the Photo shoot.. He should have slapped the handcuffs on him and escort him back to Thailand..Chalerm seems to be clutching at straws.

"Chalerm, an outspoken veteran politician with a background in the police force, said he was unsure whether the arresting police officers would take recourse to an extrajudicial killing in case of armed resistance.

"I don't know if there will be extrajudicial killings. I will not be among the arresting officers. But whatever will happen or if there may be loss, people should understand that the police will use their good judgement," Chalerm said."

He really said that?

They are all under the direction of Thaksin and he has a proven record of extrajudicial killings. Didn't matter to him if they were innocent or not. Haven't seen any signs of him changing his spots yet.

Chalerm just give him enough ear medicine and he will solve all kinds of problems in 60 days.

I liked the way Suthep was ranting about Chalerm.

"If I am killed, it is Chalerm who did it" Is he saying we should sent thank you cards and donations to him if he pulls it off?

Chaerm has got them rattled. He pinned them down and has sown confusion in the rank and file of the Fascist party. Theey are going to have to stay closer to their stage from now on and they overstreached today.

That they overstretched is important. It has put a limit on the area they can operate in. Many polling stations ended up with a bigger crowd of voters later in the day. Certainly more than the small band of thugs that was shutting them down. Means next time, they will have to stay and defend the stations against voters... (did I really say that ) and this means more stations open.

Chalerm is slowely strangling them. We must be patient, but when the time comes, they need to be hit very hard indeed. Handing them over the the Courts for a pat on the back and a Must Do Better next time is not the answer.

All the rumours of imminent arrest make Suthep wary and he goes to ground... 5 star BTW, but he goes to ground none the less.

What is noticiable on the march now is just how many of the leading hundred are guarding him.... This stands out a mile and as they take the threat seriously, it is now a snarling menacing mob marching with him. Few airheads left following him are at the back taking selfies.

This must be draining his resoursce and they cant' stay together 7 days a week forever. time will come when he has to go.

The violence today was all from the yellow side apart from the shooting. the yellows even fired shots on one of their rallies today. So 2 dead leaders from the militant wing this weekend and nothing to pin on the Government. The one today, they just ran into a moody gang out hunting, which happens every weekend all over thailand. Nothing organised of sinister... so he cannot scream coup. If he could, he could have.

Just be nice one day to scream... "F*&K these handcuffs are bloody tight. please loosen them"

He really is detested much more than his ego allows him to believe. maybe it is his ego and mouth that will finally sink him.

By the look of the photos on Thai visa recently. there is more than a "few airheads " marching behind Suphet. Where did you get the info about shots being fired ?? Were you there ??

You will be suprised how much financial support from the provinces is being sent to help feed the protesters and that is a fact, not a theory

Mr Chalerm has a dodgy history but I suspect his time in Scandinavia has made him see the error of his ways. He seems to be on the right path again now and probably regrets the past. He should be given the chance to make amends

Next rumor, Chalerm has repented his devious ways and is a born again christon. The time in Scandinavia may not be due much credit as his preformance since his return has fallen back into his old natural nasty, selfish, self promoting charactics.

What was he doing in Scandinavia there are several treatment centers here in Thailand. Also a Wat that treats addiction.

"Tarit yesterday also warned people not to take part in the protests, saying they could be regarded as violating the law or could end up clashing with police.

He said ordinary protesters would be also deemed to have violated the law under the state of emergency. He said that by attempting to interrupt an election, they could face a jail term of up to 10 years."

Ah, another fascist having his moment. Who let PT's pit bull loose?

Still the protesters should know by now that exercising your democratic right to protest is a crime in PT's eyes (if they are the ones you object to that is).

I don't think exercising their democratic right to protest is a crime. Preventing other people from exercising their democratic rights to run for office and to vote quite clearly is. This is indeed the problem, Suthep and his demonstrators aren't protesting, they are breaking the law.

If they would have stuck to blocking a few intersections, there would only be some nuisance, now they are quite clearly trying to take away basic democratic rights, they belong in jail and should be taken out off the streets.

I very much doubt that Chalerm thinks he has a drink problem. From his previous announcements, he seems firmly rooted in denial. The only drink problem that Chalerms has in his mind, is when the cabinet is empty.

The only straws he would clutch at are stuck in his Pina Coladas.

Was that the meeting a few years back in a certain Scandinavian city, when they agreed a pact to install Thaksin as El Presidente? Look it up.

Now Kamnan Suthep is calling for the army to rescue them from a Cambodian.

Sorry Suthep the army is not coming to your side also many army persona's are on your side. Last time you could play the card with the army because you were in power. This time you are not in power and you drive slowly yourself to the wall. Even most of the Democrats leaders left you already or at least you don't hear much of them.

You have blocked the polling stations with your thugs and to be honest your time is running out. It is just a matter of time before karma gets you back.

Your days are numbered Suthep and surely in the next few days you will be arrested and put in jail. Don't wine for the army, they don't give a damn about you and so do most of the Thai people's.

Just heard on the BBC that Suthep has been shot to death.

Any clarification, please, TV members?

EDIT:

Nevermind, it was Suthin, not Suthep. misheard it from a radio in another room.

Pretty reasonable - Suthep and his cohorts have said enough to hang themselves. Time to go to the monkey house. However being filthy rich and corrupt - they won't see prison anytime soon after all this is thailand.

did you think that all by yourself.!!?... maybe you shoulnt have a voice in the matter. cause you obviously dont know anything.

Obviously you feel that some people are intelligent enough to vote and some are not. You exude the sort of arrogance of everybody you argue with.

Ok you made your point. Kill them all if necessary cause they are protesting.

No, again. I want them arrested. But if they resist they should be met with deadly force if necessary. How is that difficult for you to understand?

Have you heard of non-lethal force? Standard practice for most police forces. But not in your sick mind.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Have you heard of armed guards? Standard practice in Asia and if used always lethal.

Interesting to see the shift in attitude and language on the pro-Govt side from yesterday/today. The word "fascist" is being used rather heavily on here (guess they've managed to reach the letter "F" in their Jack & Jill crayoning books, well done guys), and they also seem now to be advocating the killing or hanging of anyone who resists arrest or prevents election polling. Guess the true colors are coming to the surface now they are under pressure.

Those who "resist" arrest get arrested. Those who mount insurrections, threaten the government, ruin business in the middle of the high season, get something else.

Every rich and influential politician or specific personalities with influential connections that have caused violence AND, OR murder will be arrested SOON...

- the red bull driver

- the politician that "accidentally" shot his wife

- the torturers of the Karen girl

- the recent child murderer

- the guy who killed his fiancée and her mother in a beauty salon in broad daylight

- the Moo-ham kid who bashed his car into passengers and a bus because he was "just mentally ill"

Every murderer or criminal with influential connection will be arrested SOON.... Which means never ever...

I hope you have the same attitude when Thaksin arrives back on Thai soil.

Yes I would if Thaksin had a warrant out for his arrest and was trying to evade being captured by having armed men surrounding him.

Ah, the legendary hypocrisy and selective memory again. Thaksin DOES have a warrant out for his arrest. He skipped out of town to avoid going to jail. Remember?

Yes, but if Thaksin was actually in Thailand using armed guards to circumvent justice you would be right in your assertions. Thaksin has a warrant but is not living on Thai soil and actively trying to overthrow the government.

Lock up the leader of this terrorist organisation the PDRC, they let another arch criminal get away before there is no reason to repeat the mistake again.

With Thailand's polarized politics, the lack of nerve to enforce the law and widespread corruption, this is only one of the few rough roads ahead I´m afraid. As long as the culture is not reformed, people like Suthep, Thaksin, Sondi etc. are going to pop up and cause a holy mess every now and then.

No, I'd not heard of that one...but I believe he spent some time in Norway or Denmark. Anyway, he strikes me as a sensible chap, capable, bright , presents well.....I have been impressed by his manner

Sounds like your thinking is up S**t Creek! now do tell us us why Thaksin would be bringing down his own Government, which he has already bought and paid for?

And BTW he doesn't need to be in Thailand,to be controlling! there's plenty of the Family and Clan which are already doing that, through Corruption and Abuse of power,

Which just to jog your memory is what caused this Present Conflict, when Thaksins Government went the last stage too far,and thought the Thai people were stupid enough to allow the Amnesty vote (which was designed as Thaksins last lifeline back into Thailand) to be allowed and voted at 4-0 am, and naively expected to be bludgeoned through.

And now the Thai people are showing him and his mob of thieving asset strippers, that they will tolerate so much, and then the Kid gloves come off!
