I see that with Suthep and his fascist thugs prepping for Sunday's election, today is accuse the Reds of violence day at TVF.

It is the fascist madman Suthep who is conducting an insurrection and the year is 2014 (unless you're a horse in the PRChina). It's the Army that has lost the trust and faith of the Thai people because the legacy of 2010 is that, regardless of who was right or wrong back then, the Army came out shooting Thais to kill Thais.

You want to rehash the Temple slaughter and all the rest of it, again?

The Army is wearing the collar because that's what people remember and the Army knows it. The old guard elites who own the Army know it.

For everyone's sake, wouldn't be better if you actually stick to the topic instead of continually posting off topic comments about Suthep and fascist thugs ad nauseam. Incidentally, it is obvious that you want to rehash few thousand extrajudicial killings as well as assassination of 20 human right activists under Thaksin and Chalerm watch. Death squads operated in Thailand during Thaksin reign. Death squads still operate under Chalerm. Talking of fascism. The pot calling the kettle black.

"Critics and opponents inside and outside Thailand often express the suspicion that the socially progressive platform and the organization as an independent NGO are only feigned to actually pursue the agenda of Thaksin and his entourage. The American freelance commentator Philip J. Cunningham even drew parallels of UDD's personalism, xenophobia, anti-gay sentiments and militance with Italian Fascism.[54]

The red shirt movement also publicly displays close and regular relations[55] with Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, severely criticized for his political history (former Khmer Rouge captain, leader of the violent 1997 clashes in Cambodia) and accused by several NGOs, including Human Rights Watch,[56] of antidemocratic, corrupted and nepotic practices spread over his record-long mandate."

RT@Juarawee: Tida: The stage rally on Jan31 is canceled at Samutprakan, but gatherings in other provinces will go on as planned.

RT@Juarawee: Tida: We don’t want to bring redshirts from many provinces to one place, as it risks sth happening. We’ll only light candles at City halls

If you call your members fake farmers, and intimidate them to cancel the protests for their well earned money, then you lose support and can hardly fill 2 minivans willing to come to Samut Prakan.

So we may expect another 10 -15 candle lighters at selected city halls ?

"We’ll only light candles at City halls"

Is that what they did in 2010?

You need to read me more closely at TVF because I've never ever defended Thaksin nor have I defended anything anyone did in the Bangkok siege of 2010, not anyone. Your post is therefore irrelevant to me, does not apply to me,

My post you quote and over respond to focuses on the fact many if not most Thai people have lost trust, confidence, respect of the Army as a consequence of its aggressive assaults against Thai citizens during the 2010 civil disorder and disturbance and that the people of Thailand hold this view regardless of who may have been right or wrong, that that is the legacy of the 2010 violence.

A number of Suthep's fahlang see a different legacy of the violence but who cares.

Thaksin is guilty of much much more than he was convicted of and Suthep is guilty of fascist insurrection and of chronic and massive corruption though he has yet to be brought on charges in any instance - a plague on both their houses.

Have a good day.

Combine that with "we have no money to pay for anyone to go"

But what the heck the reds have had a wonderful time posting in their support, the office of misinformation will be proud of them.
