Featured Replies

Great idea from the farmers to ask for help from one above politics, im sure HM the king being the person he is will with his vast wealth and influence help the poor farmers in their hour of need. wai2.gif

.

More than they can expect from the Shinawatras, with their vast wealth and influence, who initiated and maintained this fiasco and put these poor farmers in such a dire situation.

' the peasants are starving and have no bread '

'well let them eat cake '

result a bloodbath

fast forward 215 years and same bloodbath

The French peasantry may well have been starving when Marie Antoinette uttered those famous words and for doing so, among other reasons, she and her husband lost their heads. The aristocrats were the ones being persecuted and they provided the blood for the most part.

Perhaps you see Tarit as the latter day Robespierre

Fast forward to today............no starving peasants, a chicken in every pot and no chance of the aristocracy being persecuted. Maybe just a few unlucky politicians making court appearances.
