Best I can discern, the source of this 'news' is an unsourced tweet with no links from someone with the New York Times.

I'm not in any way a Yingluck fan, but something doesn't strike me as correct about the story.

Warning to those silly old Farang men chanting and blowing whistles and getting into it at protest sites. You've been warned all along don't get involved. I got to take my hat of sometimes to Thai's. They stick together and don't take shit from anybody.

The title of the topic is pretty misleading to be fair- "Thai-Indian business tycoon" suggests that the business tycoon is a Thai-Indian. Although most people would read beyond the topic before commenting...

There are many Indians working here on business visa without PR or citizenship. Silly silly boy for getting involved.
