The company that I use for security has just increased the man/shift rate to 16,000 baht per month.

Before I get on my bike and start driving around on Samui's lovely roads, I thought that I would ask other forum members if they know of other rates/companies.

Minimum wage 300 Baht day so probably more, holidays, sick pay etc plus profit...16k must be about right nowadays.

Minimum wage was last year. That was the excuse for the 2,000 baht increase then.

Holidays/sick pay - again no change.

Profit????????????

I wish that I could increase my prices by 14.3% and still keep all of my customers
